Some countries print prices with tax included and some add it at the till. SplitTab does not guess which — pick whichever matches the bill in front of you.

Vouchers, coupons, loyalty discounts and complimentary items. Whether a discount comes off before or after the service charge changes the answer, so SplitTab asks rather than assuming.

    RoundingExact

Every split is exact to the last cent by default; this is only for making the numbers easier to hand over.

Proportional is the default, not the rule

Sharing a service charge in proportion to each person’s subtotal generally tracks consumption more closely, so that is the starting point — but it is always visible and always changeable, and the What if panel shows what switching to an equal split would do to each person, down to the cent.

    Already included on the bill?

Set it to Included and nothing is added — the charge is already inside the prices you entered. That keeps the record honest without inflating anybody’s share.
